SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

ATS offers Scholarship to the following:

  1. New Student who graduated with honors from the University or Bible School within the last five years.
  2. New Student with a score of 575 or higher at the ATS English Proficiency Exam and earned a GPA of 2.0 or equivalent for a graduate from University/College and 1.75 and above for Bible School graduate.
  3. Returning Students who have completed at least 9 units at ATS (including Introduction to the Bible and Research and writing) with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.75.

Eligibility for All Applicants

  • Commitment to full-time ministry
  • Endorsement of sending organization
  • Must finish a degree program at ATS
  • Willingness to comply with the requirements of ATS and of the donors

Note: All New Scholars are under probation for one semester.

Application period

  • Applicants may apply for scholarship on the following dates:
  • For the First Semester:
    • Begins on the second Monday of January and ends on the last Friday of March
  • Second Semester:
    • Begins on the second Monday of June and ends on the last Friday of August Scholarship recipients must apply for the renewal of their scholarship grant annually.

Requirements for Application/Recipients

  1. Completely filled-out scholarship application form. This should include thorough and honest financial record of monthly income and expenses, one-time gifts, regular gifts, etc. Students who willfully give untruthful information will be disciplined and will be disqualified from applying for scholarship. The scholarship office will not process any application/renewal with incomplete requirements.
  2. Maintain Christian integrity and character.
  3. Attend scholarship orientation and meet with scholarship chairperson twice a semester.
  4. Work as Student Assistant(SA)
  5. Submit an accounting of allowance, if you receive any (book or living allowances), by the end of the semester.
  6. Comply with the specific requirements of donors.
  7. Write a thank you letter/report/testimony at the end of the semester.
  8. Submit two copies of your thank you letter on time (hard copy and soft copy).
